Refrigerator Shelf Plug for Dometic 2932103019 (LEFT) / Dometic 2932101013 (RIGHT)

Do you have a Dometic 2-way or 3-way Fridge / Refrigerator / Freezer in your RV / camper / trailer / motorhome / or caravan?  Are your shelves falling out of the holes in the walls of your fridge compartment? You may need to replace one or more of these shelf plugs.

The shelf plugs in your Dometic RV fridge do several things: they distribute the weight of the shelf (and your food) on the plastic wall of the fridge, they allow you to remove or change the position of the shelf, and they prevent the shelf from falling out.

Your Dometic RV fridge freezer has TWO versions of this plug. The LEFT hand plug (e.g. Dometic 2932103019 ) has a hole that goes all the way through. The RIGHT hand plug (e.g. Dometic 2932101013 ) has a hole that does not go all the way through. When you want to remove your fridge shelf, the hole in the left hand plug lets you press the bar of the shelf into the left wall of the fridge, which gives you just enough space to remove the right end of the bar from the right hand plug.

When one (usually it’s the right hand one) or both of these plugs breaks, your shelf can fall out (usually on the road). That creates a mess of broken or spoiled food.

The Dometic OEM shelf plugs are made of lightweight polypropylene plastic. They tend to break because they weren’t engineered for a lifetime, and they tend to get brittle after a few years. They can also break from a combination of the load on the shelves or the pounding they get from bumps in the road.
