Is This the Right Part?

Replacing, repairing, upgrading, or re-sealing the window on the Lippert entry door in your 2017 or newer Class A, Class B, fifth wheel, RV, camper, or travel trailer? If your inner window frame is snap-in, with no exposed screws, you’ll need a set of window frame release keys to avoid expensive damage.

If your window or entry door glass is cracked, fogged, or needs replacing, and the frame is held together with hidden snap-fit tabs rather than visible screws on the inner frame, you need these keys to release the frame without breaking it or scuffing, damaging, or scraping the door.

What It Replaces

This 16-piece set replaces the OEM window release keys used to disengage Lippert’s snap-fit frame connector tabs — the internal barbed clips that lock the removable inner frame half to the outer frame half in your entry door. These screwless frame systems are used across multiple RV brands built with Lippert-supplied windows and doors, including Winnebago, Jayco, Oliver, and many others.

How to Install

1. Use painter’s tape, or a helper, to hold the outer window frame in place.
2. Insert one key into the gap between the inner window frame and the inner skin of the entry door at each tab location.
3. Press the key in to the stop hub to flex the barbed tab out of its receiver.
4. Work around the full perimeter, releasing each tab in turn, then gently pull the inner frame free.
5. Remove the old glass, re-seal, and install the replacement pane.
6. With your helper holding the outer frame in place, press the inner frame back into place until each tab reengages.
